New from Fandi Films!

Running for President became somewhat tedious and a little difficult after my true heritage was discovered.  No harm intended good people.  I've been busy running Blue Star Studios and have started my own line of funky shoes.  See above example.  Fandi Footwear.

I'm going a long way, baby.

My childhood home...

My future home.

If my good friend Paris can run for president then so can I.

Need some Raybans?

Always looking for an opportunity to say hello to my fans I took my windsurfer in for a close call with the Waterton Lakes Ferry a few years ago. Somewhere on the bottom of the glacial lake are my Raybans...but that is another story.

Woman as a chair.

I posed for this watercolour painting a few years ago when neon was as hot as I was. Not that I'm not hot now.

Ah...the eighties....

...don't you miss them? When colourful inappropriate clothing was acceptable in all situations. For example: rock climbing in flip flops and a thin cotton jumpsuit.

Celebrity Endorsement

I recently enjoyed a stay at an exclusive hotel nestled in a privately owned hideaway on Canada's Vancouver Island. Perched in lush natural surroundings the Hotel D & D offers a variety of options for accommodations which are comfortably arranged to suit individual requests; including garden view rooms, themed guest cottages or private over-the-water bungalows with full kitchen and bath amenities. The hotel menu changes daily to incorporate fresh, locally grown foods, yet is nicely accentuated by delicious beverages which are imported from exotic lands. For example, carefully selected green coffee beans are roasted and ground on site to ensure the freshest and sweetest espresso in all of North America - if not the world. A variety of imported herbal teas and fine wines are also available.

While strolling through the grounds a glimpse of local wildlife is inevitable. Rare miniature Hintons, soaring vultures and mountain cats call the old growth forest home. As well, nearby aviaries house flocks of exotic birds which lull contented guests to sleep with their sweet harmonies and wake them to a new day of adventure with their happy melodies.

The D & D, named after the hotel's worldly and talented proprietors, is set comfortably away from the chaos of city life, yet only "20 minutes from everything."

Guests are just moments away from invigorating hikes leading to spectacular mountain views or

stimulating cycles past quaint country markets bursting with fresh produce and rich confectioneries. An assortment of challenging sports such as technical tree climbing, sailing, kayaking, rock climbing, diving and unicycling are also available.

Once exhausted after a day of physical challenges, guests may enjoy a chauffeur-driven excursion in a classic Mercedes Benz to the heart of a cosmopolitan city immersed in culture and history. In the picturesque capital city guests will find a plethora of lovely establishments serving all types of fare, ranging from vegetarian to omnivorian. If choosing to dine alfresco guests will be surrounded by vibrant manicured gardens and scenic water features.

For those who prefer to stay within the hotel's relaxing atmosphere there is free wireless Internet, a library, and an extensive museum including themed artifacts, natural history and intriguingly unique antiques.

While lounging at one of two decks overlooking the grounds, guests are sure to be pleasantly surprised with subtle musical entertainment or the occasional wandering circus performer.

A splendid five star facility with exceptional hosts to match.

Definitely a five diamond resort.

Out of Hibernation

I've been living green for a few months. Searching for answers to questions that can't be answered by turning off the television, computer and cappuccino machine. All that hard work, lack of heat and the cold spring only served to send me under the covers of my 1000 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets where I pondered the futility of my experiment. In the end, I weakened and took the Caddie and her heated seats out for a spin in our 10 degrees
Celsius spring with a full travel mug of foaming caffienated elixir by my side. I am so ashamed.

Havana Nights.

I've been in Cuba scouting locations and finalizing details for a spoof on international relationships - a film which, I hope, will have an inspiring message for a new world harmony. While in Havana, I stopped in to visit an old friend, who holds the same hope deep in his heart and firmly in his political philosophy. Here we are cutting the rug at his retirement party. My hair kept hitting him in the eye when he twirled me around. Sorry Cass!

My New Book

This is my proposal for the cover of my new book
Don't Swim with Scissors:
A comprehensive guide to mixed metaphors.

Guns Ablazing

I've been in tied up with the negotiations in the writers' strike. We all feel that an agreement is imminent and with cautious optimism I report that I will be able to continue working on the pilot for a potential new show - Guns Ablazing.
I play a well-endowed, but very skinny, police officer who is on stress leave due to an eating disorder. I live in a trailer on a acreage in southern Alberta. My neighbour is a ruggedly handsome and reclusive corn farmer. We are thrown together by proximity -and need- when mysterious strangers move in to the small town nearby and threaten our sanctuary.

On being penned...

I am locked up.
A prisoner and

At war
with myself and
the world.
All because
I dare to
discard the chairs.

I hope your new year is as spectacular as this view from my room taken while on a recent excursion to top up my supplies of Armani, Dior, Channel, Gucci, Fendi and American dollars.

I'm a Barbie Girl

Ken is away, so I spent a few days with my friend Barbie. She did my hair and makeup and then we tried on clothes from the new Barbie Girl collection. I'm sure you'll see more of it at New York fashion week...
slotted to run right after Marc Jacobs. I'll be there.

My Super Man

Some of the press has been a little harsh about my new man, claiming that he is unattractive, plastic and easily manipulated. I think he is super. In fact, just last week we were at his fortress of solitude.

Isn't he cute?

I met this man at a recent disaster planning symposium.
He was playing the role of a patient in the STARS ambulance
multiple casualty bus. Isn't he cute?

He is the strong, silent type, always smiling and tolerant.

I think I'm in love.

Quality Control

Last month I was asked to fill in for a vacationing neurosurgeon at ****** hospital in ******. Just as I was about to drill the initial burr hole into a patient's head, I noticed a small black speck on my glove - a bug was embedded in the latex.

Sold!

This is of of my art pieces - purchased from my recent exhibit - hanging above the bed in its new home - a quaint B&B near Gogo Falls Road about 1 km from the Langata shopping center, in Kenya. I can't believe it. It is probably worth more than the whole building.

O

I ended up watching most of the awards at the Vanity Fair party with O and company. She was ecstatic when Forrest won, as you can see. You can also see her fillings. Maybe time for some dental work...? I think those are Hillary Swank's fingers aiming at my nose. Who knows? It was crowded - but a good time was had by all. I'm glad it is over. It is a difficult pace to maintain.
