Born in Iran and sent to Canada as a child, this is M Fandi's own story. Set in Alberta, this film chronicles her slow acceptance of Christianity after she sees the face of Jesus in a frozen pond while contemplating suicide. As good a watch as her last film from 2001, "All I Heard Was Rabbits" ...a positive review of a difficult and very personal work.
